ABOUT

Spaulding Outpatient Center Salem is a center of excellence for specialty care. In addition to treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, they offer a variety of unique programs, including: Neurologic Rehabilitation, Pelvic Healthcare, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Fall Prevention (Live Long Walk Strong), Audiology, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Services. With their expansion to offer pediatric rehabilitation services at the Spaulding Outpatient Center for Children Salem, they are the largest outpatient center in the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Tenant fit-out involving numerous trades in mill building reflecting standard construction for Spaulding off-site locations across Eastern Massachusetts. Space includes multiple patient areas, (2) gyms, multiple exam rooms and a whole array of state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment.

PROJECT CHALLENGES

Like all older buildings, uneven floor substrates, dated infrastructure as well as structural challenges were all present throughout construction.
